[KRAFTWERK] Das Modell

It gives an unexpected texture to the overall feel of "The Man Machine" as well. It's not my favourite KW song by a long way, but it demonstrates their unusual gift for pop melody.

To be honest, I had grown a bit tired of it (it's a great song, but, you
know, over-familiarity) but I really love the live version on Min-Max. It's
like an old relative that has matured somewhat... ;-)

Same here; I love this song so much! I think it's the most covered
Kraftwerk's song.

I have listened to The Model (and Das Modell) probably a thousand times
(each!) and I really must say, it qualifies, for me, as the perfect pop
song. Ever.

The more I listen to it, the more I hear the complexity of it, but at
the same time, it is such a simple song. It is easily my favourite song
of any band. I could listen to it forever and never tire of it.
